If you have ever been caught in a thunder storm, soaking wet, frustrated, without an umbrella and almost without hope, then you can imagine where I was when Top Priority entered my life. For almost 35 years, I had taken care of my daughter without any help from anyone, except GOD.
My daughter was born when I was about 37 weeks pregnant, and she was absolutely beautiful. Before the age of one year, she had a fall from a carrier, and she had pneumonia twice. She was moving at a slow pace and by 18 months old, she was having 2-27 seizures a day. After one of her tours in the hospital, I was told to sign the death certificate because she would not make it through the night. I was also told that if she did, she would be a vegetable, and that she would probably not live to be 2 years old and if she did, she would not know colors, numbers, or that I was her mother "but GOD". My daughter is now almost 39 years old and still moving. Ms. Mosley saw my situation and my need for assistance with her care. Because she had been cared for only by myself, she was very suspicious of "outside people", except mostly family. My daughter took to Ms. Mosley right away and to her current caregiver. I never have to worry about a "call-in" or not having anyone to care for "Pooh". I thank GOD for Ms. Mosley and all the members of the Top Priority team. I am so blessed, and so is my daughter. They have truly made "Pooh" know that she is "Top Priority". I knew it all the time..Thanks, Sharon. I will always tell others who have similar precious gifts (not burdens) as I have about your company. You are such a blessing and I pray that the LORD will always keep and bless you and your company.Never feel frustrated, no matter how hard the test. Remember that you are doing a great work for the LORD and HE nor I will ever forget it.

My son, at 9 months old, had surgery for a brain tumor and also hydrocephalus. Due to these surgeries my son developed cerebral palsy and blindness and many physical disabilities. I have taken care of my son all these years with the help of my mother while she was living. It has been very hard and with a lot of sadness. I am a Christian and did a lot of praying. God lead me to Top Priority through my best friend. Top Priority has been a life saver. They introduced and took me through the correct channels. It took 2 weeks or more and then the correct agents started calling and making appointments to see my son. My life has been much easier these past 4 years. My son loves and enjoys his Direct Care Worker. She has taught him many things. She has been here through rain and shine. Top Priority makes a home visit every month to check on my son's progress and care.

"My first child was a true blessing. He struggled for the first eight years of his life suffering from numerous seizures and a brain tumor. He had to endure many surgeries and at times we were not sure that he would make it. Miraculously, my son survived and over came the circumstances which he faced coming so close to death. Now he is 25 years old. Raising a child with special needs is hard, yet rewarding. The hardships were not getting help for his medicine and living in a house that was not accommodating to him. However, the rewarding things were being able to see the smile on his face and hear him say "I love you". To know that no matter how hard things got he still had a positive and loving spirit. These are the things that keep my husband and I going each day.
Before I met Ms. Mosley, my husband and I were not knowledgeable about the help and support that we could receive for our son. During these times it was hard trying to make sure our son got what he needed and show the same love and devoted time to our other two children. Ms. Mosley is a true angel that came into our lives and provided the extra support and resources that helps us in our care for our son. We are truly blessed to have me the Top Priority Care Services workers. Thank you Top Priority Care Services for all of your help".

"If it wasn't for Sharon and her staff at Top Priority my son would not be able to get the CAP services he needs to help him with his everyday needs. For me it's been a blessing. Since I am a single parent it helped me greatly. My CAP worker has helped me with taking care of my son while I am working by working with him with his everyday needs like household responsibilities, everyday care needs for himself, community activities and social skills. See having the services I don't have to worry about my son at a day care where he would get abused due to lack of being able to communicate due to not hearing and speaking. Also having CAP services has helped me by taking my son to and from school making sure his needs are taken care of while I am working or if I have an appointment or any other errands that I must run that day. So as you see, if it wasn't for Sharon and her staff, I would not be able to have the job I have now which I am getting ready to be promoted for a third time in less than six months, so having a CAP worker in my life is greatly appreciated by myself and my son. If it wasn't possible for people like Sharon and her staff that cared, I would be struggling trying to keep a job and keep my son growing and learning. My needs are met and our lives are stress free because of Top Priority".
