Who We Are

We set ourselves apart from other community support agencies by our ability to offer diverse and comprehensive programs to individuals and families requiring mental health or developmental disability services. This agency offers a comprehensive flexible service delivery system like none other.

Our Mission

To provide services to individuals that may be at risk for out of home placement as a result of needs relating to mental, behavioral or physical health.

CenterPoint, through collaborative partnerships, develops, manages, and coordinates services to support those with mental health, developmental disablilities, and substance abuse needs.

Responsible for ensuring that Durham County citizens who seek help for mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse recieve the services and support for which they are eligible to achieve their goals and to live as idependently as possible.

The Guilford Center is responsible for overseeing and maintaining a quality System of Care for consumers of public development disabilities services in Guilford County.

Enhanced Benefit

CST consists of mental health and substance abuse rehabilitation services and supports necessary to assist adults in achieving rehabilitative and recovery goals.

ACTT Services

ACTT is a comprehensive and integrated variety of services for consumers who have complex needs.

CAP Services

The Community Alternative Program (CAP) is designed to assist individuals with disabilities in understanding and using rehabilitation services.

Day Treatment Services

In partnership with local school systems, we provide an array of day-treatment programs for students with mental-health problems that interfere with their ability to function successfully in regular school classrooms.

Substance Abuse Services

The ultimate goal of our SA Program is long-term abstinence from drugs and alcohol.

DD Services

Provides adults with developmental disabilities with linking, arranging, coordinating and referral services to the necessary care appropriate to their needs.
